Just install them and copy them to the memory card the same way you'd copy any file.

An important question is whether the widespread Nokia's Symbian system is the one operational in the sonyericsson phones (I have a w 810i). Games/ software for symbian systems are found in plenty on the net on many websites. The .sis files I mean. Are these compatible on SonyEricsson phones? The other or .jar games are also workable on almost all Nokia models, what about SonyEricsson phones? What is UIQ system? Is this the one found in SE phones? and how far it is compatible with Symbian system. Anyone care to answer.

Regards,
Afaq aka qualittee

Phones like the W810 only support jar files. I think sis files can be run on the P series and M600/W950.

does this mean, i should put the .jar file in my phone memory as it says in the guide, then will i be able to choose to install it to my memory card?

i'm not quite sure what you mean.

No, you install it, then, on your phone, highlight it and choose move to the memory card.

If you're placing them in the correct place theres no reason why they shouldnt show.

Try following the tutorial again.

Thanks Etaab. have followed the steps mentioned by you to install games on my k600i. it functions well.

However earlier i was installing applications as well as games on my cell in a different way. I used to simply copy the .jar file from my pc to my cell in the folder named others. And then after disconnecting the phone from USB i simply used to go the other folder in my cell and then select the jar file and the application automatically does gets installed in the phone, it even asks the location to be installed like applications or game folder in the mobile. and whenever i want to use the application or game, i simply have to go to the required location i.e. games or application folder. I think its a easier way to install games. Any way if it have certain drawbacks then please let me know.
thanks all.
