Google made a phone?

If that was ur first thought at sight of the title, I've got a bridge for sale, bidding starts at $2.50!!! Before bidding begins, what phone is better b/n the two?

Apples iPhone or Googles gPhone.

from what i read about the g1, most of the features are at par with the iphone - the only thing is, they put in extra features like a trackball, a qwerty keyboard under the display and other google-specific features like gmail, maps and rss feeds, although nothing i read told about java so i can't be sure. but i've learned my lesson when buying a new tech gadget - always wait a few months before buying it as there are problems that "pops up" and gets fixed with later models. all in all, i'll stick with my iphone - when the one i have now wears out, i'll get the 3g version. maybe later i'll have more info about the g1 then i'll think about getting one.
