I welcome most requests because I really do have an interest in making new friends but yes some do only seem to want numbers...I do agree with to each their own but I say if it's genuine friendship thats being sought the more the merrier.

i hate random frndship request...coz most people hir hav a habit of clicking dat frndship request button!

w/o even saying a simple Hello..or Hi! well i have also a habit of deleting frnds...esp. those who requested frndship and after dat nvr cared to talk or even pay me a visit. wats d used of having dem in my list if dey dont even remmber me. coz 4 me it doesn't end only hir in zedge....

its maybe fine collecting friends here...as long as they dont do anything wrong or do a mess in you profy....not to worried of a friend collectors..

Huh I always get a friendship request which I accept because I don't get nor lose something with it... but don't get the point of a friend with who you've never talk... I barely talk with 10 people from my friends list....

So I ask a people who send them... WHY?

a bunch of friends in your list doesnt makes sense to me.... coz wots the use of it if you never talk them even once... some of us never replied when friends from their list sent them notes...

so why i keep bunch of friends from ma list... ???

I don't care about this thing ..who wanna to send a request for friendship he is welcome ...if he wann speak with me ,I will be glad to speak in back .....
I hate this rules aboul "if I don't know you or didn't talk with you don't send me a friendship request "

why is Zedge made .....it is for collecting friends and knowing eachother ......
I have for now 80 friends in my list but I speak only with 10 of them .......so what ....I am happy when I find my friend list has many ppl .....

For me, collecting have its pros and cons

The pro is, we will be happy when our friends list is full like what romeo said.

But, the bad side is, sometimes people are annoyed when ppl send requests without a single word by him/her in the gb.

As much as i like making new friends, it's really annoying how people ask for friendship without taking a chance to know you a little before. I have posted in my "About me" section that any random friendship requests will be declined. So still receiving them means they don't bother reading my lines. So then i ask myself : " Why shall i be friends with someone who doesn't care enough to read those damn 10 lines? "

And another thing. It's nice to have lots of friends, but those people who only add you to their list and never bother to keep in touch - they are not friends

They're just people filling your list for no reason
