If u like Music, WALKMAN phones would b definitely suits u, if u like photo-taking, the N82 is the best choice, but actually N82 sound quality is Not bad too...

Quote of user: ilovew660

look, the N82 is a minicomputer with 3.5mm jack, sweet xenon flash( unlike the pathetic wannabe xenon on k810 and k800 ), 5 mp camera, large display, and GPS..it is adequately priced and offers a lot of punch for money..the w960 is an awkward UIQ device with bulky looks, less-than-walkman music performance, and the camera sux..plus, it is more expensive than N82..the w980 is the most beautiful phone yet, has good sound quality( hopefully ), but falls flat on every other aspect..i doubt its stereo speakers will sound anything like the N73..it has 3mp camera without AF, which reduces it to nothing..I think nokia has done the right thing by introducing the N-series..I mean, with the N-series, they are able to chuck in any attractive feature on a phone, without worrying about its positioning,,meanwhile, sony deliberately produces k series and w series..which forces its consumers to constntly having to compromise between imaging and music, and end up buying more affordable, feature packed nokias

Very Well said.... I agree with the point!
I am a very hard core SE fan but when it comes to powerpack features... forget about it! Sony does not want to extend the features more than W series..?? why?? why does SE not want consumers to avail everything like Nokia does? You know NSeries is no longer called a mobile phone but is called a 'DEVICE'
On the other hand SE keeps restricting consumers from having a variety of features... like its scared-we will exploit it! LOL

Just don't compare between Nokia and Sony Ericsson in Music section. If music is the main purpose then SE is always one and the best option.
Sorry to Nokia fans...you guys know better though.

i'd go for sony ericsson w980 definitely!!
although SE W980's camera is inferior to N82, (same as w960-3.2 megapixel) there are many features available in it not found in nokia. it has 8Gb internal memory, fm transmitter n nicest user interface(nokia's interface has never been to my liking)...and of cus, the best audio experience!!!
Whereas, N82's memory is only 100mb-.-

besides, SE W980 is really lightweight n stylish with a really cool TOUCH-screen walkman-on-top(Just like as if an ipod has combined with a phone) with exciting light features[white & orange] that lights up with the beat.

Now, for SE W960, my friend has it, and i really have to say, it is way too laggy... and bulky even though i like the big screen resolution. but its laggy performance just turn me off.

So I would say W980 is a better choice!! But if you are someone who only goes for better camera quality, then go for N82
