Try use the original theme,if there's no problem with the phone so that downloadable theme is broken/error. Try download a compatible themes, u can get it at www.mobile9.com

try downloading themes from the m600 category, and look at the screen shots, if the screen shot looks like the screen from a p1i then you can download that.

Mobile9's problem ask in their forum? :P

Why are you looking for a jar extention for p1 themes? P1 themes have a .utz file extention.

When you download themes what extension are they coming out as? If a zip then see what files are in the zip if a utz file extract it, if lots of files like filename.png blah blah then rename the file to utz and send that to your phone. I think mobile9 has a topic about how to rename files in their faqs intentionally for java games, but just replace .jar with .utz and this.class with this.png

@ maye05: hi! okay, first thing, did you install the pc suite on your pc? if not, try to get a card reader and an m2 adaptor so you can transfer files faster.
second: check the theme category you're browsing/downloading from, usually, themes from se m600 works well with the p1i. by the way check the themes you're already down loaded if they have the '.utz' extention, if not, then it really won't work with the p1i
third: when you're transferring files, make sure you complete the transfer - just put the files in either the memory card or phone memory then browse for the files in the file manager. - and then click the safely remove hardware on the lower right of the screen - the icon with the green arrow - before unplugging the usb from either the phone or pc

good luck and let us know how it went!

try to check the message setting... maybe you chose the no display option for the messages...
